I've been out of Forum Games for a while now!

OT: What's worse is that the parents were just downstairs. The fox walked past them as they were watching TV.
Really? Huh. Must've not seen you that often, then.

I don't really find it scary. It's just nature being nature and people thinking that because their in a city that they won't have an animal come in their homes. What I hate about this is that it gives a reason for people to justify Fox hunting.

'GASP! A VERMIN ATTACKED A HUMAN! So lets go all the way to the woods and kill the ones that hurt no one!'

I feel sorry for the baby but I know for sure I'll probably end up hating humanities response to this issue. 'Cause you see, when we try to fix something we only make it worse.

Instead of hunting Foxes we should just take this as a lesson. If an animal can get in - even a small one - it can probably still be dangerous.

You have to remember that a fox is a wild animal, and it's not made to act in a civilization. It's probably most accurate to assume it jumped in the crib, and got freaked out, I just hope the situation doesn't give people an irrational hatred of them. Foxes are not an overly aggressive(Towards humans) species. I am glad to hear both children survived and are stable.

Yeah, I was about to yell at Fox News as well.

Although I was watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc5FIMpHbgU (Sorry , don't know how to embed) and for the first time in my life, I actually felt proud of Fox. It was a very brief feeling.
Ahh, you gotta love Clinton.

Wow, lots of irrational hate for Fox News here, sheesh people, get over it, you don't agree with them we get it.

Anyway, pretty freaky that happened... but also knew that foxes got in there at times... probably should have taken more precautions to it.
Perhaps it's less about differing opinions and more about the distaste of such obvious bias in a source who claims to be non-bias.

My thoughts on this exactly. The fox isn't evil or did this out of hatred... it just saw the child as food. I can imagine that the fox hunting crowd won't see it like this though and will be polishing their rifles. The answer isn't to kill anything... maybe lock your door next time or try to be more aware of what's happening around you... but not hunting fox down.
That's not to say that (despite the fox not doing it out of malice) if I found the fox attacking my niece, I wouldn't either kill it(not intentionally) or injure it. I'd probably volley it out of my house and I'd probably have to give it a few hits to get it off my niece.

However I wouldn't go out with a rifle trying to hunt it down after the escape. Nor would I attempt genocide on the fox in the area.

You'd kill a fox just to defend someone?! You monster!

Nah, just kidding. I agree with your points perfectly as well. I don't really know what I'd do if I saw a Fox trying to gobble up a baby in my house. I usually stay calm and collected and see a situation in a steadfast manner but in that case I'd probably freak out.

Asking my self two great questions.

'What the fuck is a Fox doing in here!?'

'Is that you Todd?'

I'd probably get out a broom and scare it off. If I was cooking chicken then I'd probably try that instead since it would save me five minutes of searching for a broom to scare it off.

Besides, it would make a far more interesting story. 'Hey, did you know that when you were a child you were attacked by a Fox and I stopping it from eating you by feeding it chicken?

The entire situation would become more ironic since I actually own a Fox plushie :/

You probably wouldn't have much of a choice. Instinct would instantly kick in, you'd probably charge and attack. Also your brain would take the hold of your muscle strength (normally you only use %20 of your potential strength) so you'd hit much harder and faster. Which is why I said I'd end up (unintentionally) killing the fox, you probably wouldn't be able to stop your self.
