I don't trust Fox News. For anything. They'd lie about the weather if they thought it'd get them a couple bucks.

There was a time a found when fox news did actually convey news on their channel, then over the years they collected a staunch news crew of very loud douche bags; it was at that point I stopped watching them and began to get my news from the internet.

I'm a republican and I think fox news is destroying what little image of "not crazy" we have left.

I saw the title and thought this thread was a joke...

Anyway, no they are not reliable, they are [i/]extremely[/i] biased and also rather moronic at times.

Historically, media outlets have always been in bed with political movements. Any pretense at objectivity is just marketing. I wish we'd go back to the old days when media was simply upfront about what its causes were.

Everyone is too something. Too lef, too right, to stupid, too ignorant, etc. I stopped watching any sort of news after the Virginia Tech shooting coverage. It's amazing how stupid people can get with guns. It's a semi automatic, not a freaking automatic. They just drop the semi part to make it sound like guns are terrible. and it's not like it's just one or two news stations everyone does it.

Damn biased douchebags can't even properly report a story.

and I HATE! how he is going around saying sorry to every fucking country for America. It just showing weakness Imo. Did any other country say sorry for when the did something bad? hell no.
So now accountability and improving foreign relations are bad things? What a strange world we live in.

I actually think he hates America. Look at his background with Rev. Wright, the man who preaches "Death to America!" And the way Obama feels the need to apologize to the rest of the world, about how terrible America is.

He screwing up America.
I can't tell if you're joking, or seriously that ignorant/gullible.
He right. Obama preacher did say how America is awful and all the "white" Americans are racists. He also "God damn america" just because of something. All I can say is, if you don't like America, that is fine, but don't live here if you hate it. Go somewhere else. and I HATE! how he is going around saying sorry to every fucking country for America. It just showing weakness Imo. Did any other country say sorry for when the did something bad? hell no.
wow.

Allies.. ever heard of the term? People won't ally themselves to you if you can't represent a cause that they believe in. We are not stronger without them, we are stronger with them; and if we have to say 'hey we got a little carried away, sorry about that' to maintain our relationship, then so be it.

As for other countries apologizing: I do believe Germany apologized for WWII... that was a pretty big F-up.

And if you HONESTLY believe that Obama hates this country, you do know that there are WAY better ways to destroy this country than public healthcare...

Fox news is too far right, MSNBC is too far left when they aren't busy slamming Fox. CNN hasn't actually [i/]reported[/i] anything in five years.
The only way to actually [b/]get[/b] news is to watch Fox, then MSNBC find what both side of the stories have in common, and you usually then have what the story actually is.
Granted, it's bound to be very little, but these day, news stations can go on for days about rather insignificant things.

I love how the americans keep refering to free healthcare for 140million people "evil" and that they dont want to go up before Obama's "death panel".

There is a problem with title "Fox News" chose, in order to be reporting the news said news must be fact and unbiased by those reporting - Fox fail in both.

First off, who said anything about public healthcare? All I said was it wrong to go around and say sorry to another countries for when we just went over and got rid of a dicator.

Second, I never said he trying to ruin the country. Your just now putting words in my mouth. and third, we are already triple in debt thanks to his "simulates plans" which is a big backfire. And last, show me where Germany or any other people who did worst then us say sorry to the people they did bad things. Did Japan say sorry to China when they unlease their soldiers on them to rape, murder and or whatever to them? Did Japan say sorry to us for bombing Pearl harbor when we weren't in the war? (Not picking on Japan, just WW2 they did just as many bad things as Germany). We as Americans also did bad things, but saying sorry when we didn't do anything bad is just wrong.

Oh and the BBC may be a little left but at least they report the facts then discuss what impact it may have etc rather than spin the story they want then fabricate evidence in order to prove their point and continue to brainwash the most impressionable gullable audience on the planet.

Television news is not informative, because more often than not, it's delivered with ratings in mind instead of journalistic integrity. This is true of most news stations with a few choice exceptions.

Fox is by far the worst offender. I honestly can't take anyone who watches Fox seriously. Well, I can't take anyone who gets their information from TV in general seriously, either, but people who watch Fox are worse.

They have a clear agenda, so it can't be good reporting...simple. I live in England, here...they just tell you what happened and leave it at that.

Removing a dictator who, although obviously bad, was still the legitimate ruler of a sovereign nation who didn't provoke us (he didn't invade Kuwait this time, we had no reason to go in)

What, you expected the economy to be fixed immediately? These things take time, and we had damn near a decade for things to get broken in the first place. Frankly, if Obama spends these 4 years getting us even just on the right track to recovery, it would be an unprecedented success.

It doesn't even have anything to do with right and left. It has to do with the fact that american news teams are more concerned with ratings than keeping the public informed.

If you're going to watch american news, watch it on a public broadcasting station. Jim Lehrer will let you know what's going on.

Honestly, I wouldn't even call Fox news reporting. They're fully intrenched in right wing propaganda that rarely has any sort of basis in reality. Retards like Oreily and Glen Beck may as well go on screen wearing tin foil hats. Probably the closest thing to them on the left aren't even legitimate news stations, more like those guys who think the government planted explosives in the twin towers and make bad documentaries about it.

The BBC are not after ratings their income comes from television licences within the uk they do not have adverts - they are not sponsored by xxx drug company.

Yes, I know it won't go changing, but we the whole world going in debt and such spending more money isn't the right way to go. I just see another great depression going to happen. I mean look at history, the world was in debt, and I believe our presdient at that time just kept spending, and then raise taxes on export and import(what a fucktard) to get money. Which backfire since ever other single country did it as well..which cause the major depression. But hey I try not to be negative, but in this time I just see history repeating itself.
