Would you guys want to play an FPS where you can play as Agent Venom, I mean think of the possibilites you can wall crawl, stealth, fire all of your arsenal at once the possibilities are endless.

Except to sell the premise, you'd have to have this long comic bookey type conversation to bring everyone up to speed on who Agent Venom is.
"So um, this is Topher Grace's character from Spidey 3 Right?"
"No, see this is actually Flash Thompson."

After some good Spidey games, sure. Like jademunky said, they'd need to explain Agent Venom to everyone else. Comic Book readers will know him, along with whoever watches the Spider-Man cartoon, but that's not quite enough. And make it a Third Person Shooter instead. I want to see how awesome Agent Venom looks while I'm playing.
Well, it depends what kind of FPS will be. It will be very vilent with a lot of blood, swearing, not any kind of censorship? Or it will be "tone down" to sell to younger audiences?
Plus is there villains who can be killed by Venom? Like, REALLY kill them?
