I've played the closed Beta. It's nothing like the past Battlefield games at all, and will most likely be a dissapointment to fans of the series' original formula.

Of course, while it may be vastly different to past Battlefield games, it's fun to play, if a little simplistic.

All the battlefield games after 2142 seem to have departed from the previous, successful, formula quite drastically. I'd like to say it's because of the new prevalence of consoles, but I'll get flamed to death.
