This topic is begging the question? What franchise should change gaming company for a better experience? Think about it. Here, I'll give an example.

The Bond franchise goes to Ubisoft. Since Splinter Cell is becoming a Assasins Creed in modern times and less to its roots. I would like to see a stealth aspect to the Bond franchise.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. -> Valve: I hate to say it... it's a very fun game, great gameplay, and a very interesting story... But you people need some help in the game engine department. I'm mean it with the greatest respect, but you got a seriously buggy engine.
Oh. Um... Oh, man.

A STALKER game by Valve. I'm thinking that might end up explodifying my head with all the awesome. Oh, man, it hurts to think about it. All the awesome is building up! Ah! Oh. Okay, I think I'll make it.

STALKER by Valve would be the last game I ever played. I wouldn't need anything else...

I wonder what Bungie would to with the Mario franchise.

Or better Team Ico makes a Zelda game. Now that I think about it that would be awesome.

Windows OS, Microsoft Office -> Valve. If anyone can get rid of all the bugs and control issues in these--admittedly, they're not games, but still--Valve can.

WoW--->Bioware. Nothing against Blizzard; they are great in any respect, but I think Bioware could just make a more meaningful single-player game out of the setting.

Neverwinter Nights -> Bioware.

Why people try to fix something that isn't broken? Usually... it is, after that attempt.

No. They will make Windows 7 cost $300, but also 300 euro. Plus VAT.

Call of Duty -> Bohemia Interactive Studio: More specifically the Operating Flashpoint guys. Since it's quite obvious that the developers at EA are either too stupid or plain ignorant to model guns within official range specs, have realistic splash/shrapnel damage from explosives, or vehicles that take damage correctly... Lets give it to who'll make you feel like you're in a frickin war.
2 things wrong.

1. EA does not develop or publish Call of Duty.
2. Treyarch keeps borrowing Call of Duty. Infinity Ward does good.

I dunno I can think of a ton of game sequels that should have been handled by a different team than the ones that actually developed them. Unfortunately that is not a guarantee they would have been better than the end product. We don't know what kind of resources or deadlines the teams were under to say that the games would have been better with someone else.

You do know, that the Call of duty series was developed by two developers , Infinity Ward(1,2,4) and Treyarch (3,5,Expansions)And Activision publishes the series(Aspyr Media for ports, Not EA.

Final Fantasy -> Bethesda Softworks. If only because it would make the weeaboos absolutely flip the fuck out.

Civilization -> The Creative Assembly. What would happen if you could fight the battles in a Civ game in real-time using Total War's combat engine? Likewise, what if Total War were a 4X game---you could explore the area, find the trade resources, and have the provinces dynamically generated using national borders and cultural buildings?

I don't know what this feeling is, Nirvana, inner bliss? I cannot possibly imagine how awesome it would be if Team Ico made a Zelda game.
That... would... be... amazing, like the best thing ever... I'm overloading with the thought of the awesome.

Sonic just goes over to Nintendo. It might as well happen at this point. The old boy just needs someone to nurse him back to health.

Also Westwood needs to resurrected and merged with Petroglyph and take over the C&C series again.

Dynasty Warriors goes to Square-Enix. Not the best choice but at least it will be a different game
I think shiny could do an amazing job. Look at sacrifice, that game was done very well and is one of my favorites. Think of DW, only you have a number of squads at your disposal ad can coordinate sneak attacks, ambushes fire attacks and the like. Would that not be absolutely incredible?

To be perfectly honest Koei could bloody do it, they showed they could in empires, but they are too damn lazy. All DW needs is a solid tactical aspect and you have an amazing game.

Uh, Petroglyph was formed mainly by Westwood employees that left when the company was eaten alive by EA.

But yeah, those guys need to make more C&C games.
