The Fatal Frame series, Shine Megami Tensei, Atelier Iris (or any of the Atelier games), the KoTOR games, and the Ace Attorney games. I will always be a fangirl and, yes, at times rabid about it.
Half Life, WoW, Mario RPG and Phoenix Wright.
The Half Life series is great, and I'm lumping Portal in with Half Life, because it's set in the same universe.
WoW is a great tool for boredom destruction.
Let's face it, we all love Phoenix Wright's brand of courtroom epic-ness.
Series I like that are not on my defend list:
Pokemon - I'm not impressed with the new Pokemon designs or moves.
Spyro - I'll gladly defend the PS1 trilogy, but the series went downhill from there.
Crash - Copy-Paste my reason for Spyro.

I also don't count Super Paper Mario in the Mario RPGs. It's a platformer. It definitely does not belong in the Mario RPG series.Marter said:

I would say Starcraft, Zelda and a bunch of others, but based off of recent events, it's hard to tell when companies decide to start pinching every penny that their fanbase has or stops listening to them.

I would have to say the Ratchet and Clank games, Call of Duty, God of War, Gears of War, Halo, Hitman, Kingdom Hearts. Those are the games I could play all day long. I know they're not perfect, but I still enjoy playing them nonetheless.
TransFormers. The Revenge of the Fallen sucked ass, and TransFormers: Animated was the spongebob of japanese robots, but if the Gundam people can pretend that SD didn't happen, I get to write off Animated.
