Franchises you wish other Developers would Take Over.

I was playing Fallout 3 for the first time recently and this was the first RPG I've played since the Pokemon Games so after a while I got thinking what if this was a Pokemon Game!

I stopped playing Pokemon because the combat was so boring and I was sick of random encounters. If the game was like Fallout 3 then it'd change everything imagine waking around and seeing a Pikachu runing across the forest and a have caves full of Machomps and Zubats. Inventory like the Pip-boy.

If Bethesda took over the Pokemon franchise then that be a great game.

So any other franchises that be better in other developers hands?

I love the idea of Bethesda taking over Pokemon. I'd like to see that, but not as much as I'd like to see them take over Final Fantasy, if only because it would make the weeaboos so apoplectic that the entire Internet would explode.

Volition to take back the Freespace franchise for one more spin.

Someone needs to make a good space combat sim. What was the last good one... StarLancer? Perhaps LucasArts needs to bring back X-Wing with... well someone make a good physics engine and call them. Ditto for auto-combat games. I have not played one since Vigilante 8 2nd and Rogue Trip Vacation 2012. But franchise with a new dev... I'd have to say Epic's People Can Fly acquires Tecmo's Deception series. There's a series where making people suffer and die was not only fun, but hilarious.

I've not enjoyed A space combat sim since probably Decent

Hmm, it's hard for me to say that I'd want any franchise to be taken in by a company that didn't make it in the first place; every time I think of it happening it reminds me of Crash Bandicoot.
