Frank has left Gallows

I don't know if anyone else cares but Frank Carter, the frontman of one of my all-time favourite bands, Gallows, has just announced that he's leaving the band at the end of this tour. This news has rendered me physically numb! The band have been such a massive inspiration to me and have honestly completely changed my life. I really don't even know what to think... this sucks so damn much!

So, topic: has anything similar ever left you feeling numb? Something that may not seem like a big deal to many but has completely kicked you to the ground? What has emotionally punched you in the face more than you thought it would?

The first time that Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe announced that they were leaving Law & Order: Criminal intent and the program was take over by Jeff Goldblum. Both D'Onofrio and Erbe returned a year later because the fans kept on pressuring the studio to let them return for the final season, so at least the fans got closure, but when I first heard the news I did feel numb I must admit.
