Fraps Recording Help

So I decided to finally buy Fraps and try messing around with it, bought Morrowind, now I'm confused because I simply can't get Fraps to record anything. I hit F9 and NOTHING happens. Anyone got a way to fix this? Also went through like 4 youtube tutorials already, they were all garbage and bad at explaining problems.

You sure your settings are set up with F9 being the record button, and are you also sure that F9 isn't being used for some other action by the game?
