In my head all I see is a guy with a shirt that says 'Fred' going round randomly hitting 1 Million YouTube subscribers.

When I first saw the title I misinterpreted it as 1 million views and I thought, "That's not bad, I mean maybe some people just happened to stumble onto his videos before cleansing their screens with fire and holy water."

And then I saw it was 1 million SUBSCRIBERS....and a little part of my soul died.

I do something somewhat similare. I draw smileys wherever I go. Sometimes on the walls too. That cheers me up. Might be the only thing keeping me sane, while I'm at the vessel for four months. Probably that and The Escapist. Along with gaming =D

I find it funny that we're panicking (or that he's celebrating) that he has 1 million subscribers when in today's Internet, you can practically have 10 sign-ons to YouTube. I know people who do just to argue like there's 10 people who agree with him (although they are all him).

So I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bunch of people with multiple accounts subscribing to his crappy videos, and in the end, it's only like 10k people max.

If it was only 10k people then that would be 100 accounts per person. Perhaps there are only 500 or 600 thousand, but I still doubt that's the case. Still, I can't believe there are more than 1,000, let alone 1,000,000 people who actually enjoy him

Dude, I've seen someone fanatical enough to open 100 accounts on a forum just to spam a vote.

I would not be surprised if the same principle is in effect.

Besides, one million of 4 billion people that normally surf the Net? That's like hardly significant.

It's extremely disappointing that these people actually subscribed to him. He doesn't even have the talent of making his voice that incredibly annoying, he just uses a program that takes his voice up a few octaves.
