Freddys Back!!!

The inevitable remake of A Nightmare on Elm St. is coming out on April 30, 2010.(barring delays)

Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach in the Watchmen movie) is to play Freddy Krueger.

Personally I didn't expect Robert Englund to reprise his role as Krueger in the event of a remake, so i'm not surprised. I think Jackie Earle Haley is a good choice to play Freddy. I also know it won't be like the originals but I still hope its good. I'm deffinatly going to see it.

Even though Robert Englund isn't playing Freddy will you go see it? Do you think it'll be as good as the originals?

I am going to see it, but I would bet money (if I had any) that it's gonna blow.

There has been mixed reactions to Haley taking over as Freddy. Honestly I think he'd make an excellent Freddy. As far as seeing it goes...well I'm not sure. All of the remakes so far have taken a major turn down blow avenue. Who knows? It may be the turn around remake that makes us all keep one eye open when we got to sleep (I guess in Freddy's case dream that we are invincible and armed to the teeth.)

yet another pointless and most definitly crap remake of another classic. hollywood is pretty much like the stock market crash, its going to burn and die and its gonna be painful. watch, coming in spring 2010: nike vs. addidas, the motion picture. it'll happen you watch, they already have a movie about air drumming (adventures of power) so it's gonna happen.

It's being produced by Michael Bay, I say skip it if you want to watch a horror movie remake in 2010 watch The Wolfman.
