Saturday 2nd May is International Free Comic Book Day. For those of you who don't know, here's how it works:
One the first saturday of May, participating comic book stores give away free comic books. These comic books have been specially made for this day by Major and Independant publishers to attract people to start reading comics and graphic novels.
Publishers taking part include the likes of Dark Horse, Archie, super hero specialists DC and Marvel and even manga specialist Tokyopop.
Feel free to post, comment on comics, talk about the day etc.
(pease note, I'm trying to avoid making this seem like spam because I just want to tell people about the day, not sell people over or advertise anything or whatever.)
