So I've only been using Steam on and off for over a year now, but I've never gifted a Steam key to anyone. Can you explain to me exactly how that's done? Sorry, I only started using Steam because of The Humble Bundle (and played the crap out of the first Torchlight).

how is firefall? is it any good?

I enjoy it, think an MMOFPS that has both the fairly standard PvP as well as a highly ambitious PvE mode. (Interesting character progression as well that can cross over both modes).

Key selling points are that its an open world mmofps with real shooter gameplay (not % chance to hit when you click on the enemy), and the other most important bit is that there is an AI alien group of sorts that is fighting for the same area you are, and they can take outposts/launch invasions on the world, and you can work to take them back. Different parts of the map are also unlocked and story advances based on the players actions. Basically this means that you can have an impact on the world when in most games you'd just be grinding for xp.
