Free Mechwarrior 4, does it work?

So I found out about the free release of mechwarrior 4 on mektek, and I've tried downloading it. So far, I've tried downloading it once, it got through almost all the way through, and then stopped because the server went down. I'm just wondering if it's worth it to keep trying if I'll never actually get to play it. Of course, I'll probably keep trying anyway cause I love Mechwarrior so much. But, whatever.

Edit: Okay, this time it's working. You just have to make sure that you have a lot of time to download and update. I think it took me about 5 hours, and if their site goes down it stops the install, so good luck.

EditEdit: Okaaaaay, now it's trying to update, says I have to install some lost component manually, then brings me to a wrong site. So I hope said component wasn't too important...

So yeah, any tips on a good download? I REALLY want to play this game.

Methinks Mektek got overloaded with the traffic.

You have to understand that every one and their dog is downloading this. Give it week, once traffics down you'll not get cut of, and get good download speeds.
