Free New ME3 Multiplayer Content!

Just so long as these things don't take forever to unlock. Also wondering whether these guns will be gettable in singleplayer.

According to a BSN mod the guns are MP only. I believe all of the new characters are considered rare.

Sooooo basically what I just said in my response above: they're getting shuffled into the mix and they're telling us "Good luck, fuckers" as far as unlocking this stuff? Faaaaaaaaaaaaan-frickin'-tastic.

Its good for the sickos who have maxed out every rare and keep getting character cards while fishing for ultra-rares.

Yeah, and don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about free DLC that a game like CoD would charge you $10 for.

I do firmly believe, however, that everyone's going to go Geth first chance they get.

Heh but all joking aside, if the Batarian somehow manages to make the Soldier a viable class I'll give it a shot, but more likely I'll be looking if the Batarian Sentinel has a better set-up than the Warp Overload setup of the Turian (which is ridiculously good). If he's got a workable setup in Sentinel I'll likely give him a shot. But engineer and infiltrator are my 2 best/favorite classes. As such I'm going straight Geth and will likely name my Infiltrator after a demon and call him Legion's "son".

Great, like the world needs more kamikazi vanguards.

But on a side note, just to spicen the deal I've heard that he's not just a "Krogan Vanguard", but a "Krogan Battlemaster" in the Vanguard class, the way the "Asari Justicar" is in the Adept class. Edit: Judging by the pics Fappy just threw up into his OP, it looks like indeed the Krogan Vanguard is actually a Krogan Battlemaster. I think just having the title of "Battlemaster" will likely make him very popular by itself.

To be fair, the person pulling the trigger in my previous response would likely be a Quarian....buuuuuuuut she'd be acting on orders from her human commander to shoot all Batarians on sight. :3

And yeah, really I think the main problem with the Soldier is that what is expected to be it's primary weapon - assault rifles - most of them absolutely suck. At least the fully automatic ones. The Geth Pulse Rifle, for instance, is a huge disappointment compared to how great it was in both ME 1 and ME 2. Seriously, I call it the Geth Spitwad Cannon because that's all your doing: shooting chewed up pieces of paper at the target. Highly accurate chewed up pieces of paper with an incredible fire rate...but still all you're gonna do is empty a clip and leave your target only soggy and mildly annoyed.

The Revenant, as well, cries and hides in shame compared to what it did in ME 2.

And with the failing of the automatic assault rifles, the Soldier itself just seems like a waste of time. Why bother with a semi-automatic assault rifle when I could just bust out a Widow or B.Widow? So we'll see what the Batarian soldier brings to the table. Though like I said, if I do play a Batarian it'll most likely be a Sentinel.

:3 From the look of that video, though, it appears the Geth Engineer gets some sort of Armor Lock a la Halo...that could be interesting.

I might be angry at Bioware but I don't think they are malicious towards their fans. Call this an intuitive leap of logic, but I think if Bioware can do something like that, then they are well aware of what our problem with the ending really is. So it gives me hope that they will actually fix the ending with something more than a cinematic. I can't explain it, but for some reason I think I know the single player DLC that is in the works will be a pleasant surprise. And yes, I got all that from one second of Bioware trolling. I know it sounds ridiculous. Time will tell if I was right.

oh god..it's gonna be like the 2nd week of multiplayer all over, where frickin everyone was a human vanguard running around, this time..as a krogan. i have a feeling it's gonna be super OP

Good thing they released this AFTER the extended cut announcement, it makes the first one not seem so bad. i'll be lookin forward to this, the multiplayer has been alot of fun.

Occams razor would say that that is a complete accident or just the one guy in charge of that segment as opposed to a company wide wink to the fans.

I have to admit: Batarians, Geth, Krogan Vanguard... looks like the rumors were true and I have to admit... I am fucking excited. This shit goes live on April 10th.
