Alright, I'm sitting here at Starbucks, able to get on WiFi on my laptop, but when I go to connect my DS to the Wifi, it states it has full bars, all green, and then I go to test the connection and it sits there for about 3 minutes, finally bringing up the message "Error Code 20100, Unable to Connect to Nintendo Wi-fi Connection."

What's the deal? My laptop can get on just fine. Do I need to do something special or should I go to a McDonalds instead?

You have to register the Wifi thing into your pokemon game. To do this, restart your game, and in the main menu go to Nintendo WFC Settings, then follow the steps to make connection 1(or 2-3, it doesn't matter) whatever the settings are for the Starbucks. Note, you may have to ask the people who work there for these.
