I'm sure most of you have heard of it? The game with the flying squirrel for a mascot? The game where its your world? Anyway Free realms has evolved into a huge game and I'm curious as to what gamers on the Escapist's opinions are on it.

i thought it was pretty weird how i t had like a few million people playing within weeks of release..lol my fault for thinking most ppl have heard of it

Checked it out. It's, meh, in my opinion. I want graphix!! The most common reason I don't play MMOs is that the graphics are always low, to suit the needs of everyone.

Yes, I know about it. I've been waiting for it to come to the ps3 for about 1 year now. It's not something I'm going to be serious with, I just want to screw around in the world every once in a while.
I checked it out, stopped playing after 10 minutes. If a game wants you to stick to it, it should do one of two things:
1) Addict you.
2) Immerse you.
If it does BOTH, then it's fantastic. Free Realms did neither. I actually found myself bored creating my character, and that generally is quite a high-point for me.

Heard of it, but I'm happy with Perfect World. A free mmo which doesn't suck, and has a new expansion next week. Hopefully anyways.
