What's the nicest thing you've gotten for free due to company error, and how did the error occur? I once got a copy of Gears of War for the PC due to having a subscription of Games for Windows Live when it went from the pay model to the free one. As an apology for having an active subscription at the time of this change (which most people pay for), I was sent the free game. Little did they know, I never bought a subscription in the first place, but merely had a free trial running.
