freelancer, i miss you

for years now i have been looking for a game like freelancer (no not the x series), i enjoyed the easy controls simple gear upgrade system (the bad graphics to a lesser extent) and a half decent user interface. its such a shame that Microsoft opted not to continue the series anyone else feel this way?

It was the last "space shooter" i truly loved, especially on a mp server with mods.

Just so you know though, the game isn't dead even if microsoft killed the mp server, you just have to connect to an already established community, i suggest looking up lancer's reactor if you're interested in playing with other people again

But, there is hope. Do you have IOS device, Look up Galaxy on fire 2. It's good. Seriously good. It's the closest and best thing to freelance in my opinion
