Hey escapists!

I'm looking for a program similar to what I used in school about 5-8 years ago in Technological studies for designing electronic circuits and more importantly simulating the result of what would happen with that circuit (lamp symbols lighting up, fuses exploding motors turning etc).

Anyone know of one? I've been trying to find one on google but so far its all static design programs =/

I remember it too.
A few dozen batteries in serial connected to another few dozen fuses who were parallel of each other. Once you did that you did everything, though.

Right now we use Multisim. I'm pretty sure that one is rather expensive, never stopped my school from "obtaining" it. Has some glitches, I must say. Just like nearly all our simulation programs.

A multi-meter in a static simulator is far more reliable to see whether it'll work as planned compared to those animated ones that are overly simplified, just so you know.

I'm do an electronic engineering degree and we use Quartus and PSpice for simulations. I also recall using Livewire late in high school, good old times :D

Yes it is FREE, provided by a SCHOOL so one can assume it is freeware since its coming from a source thats supposed to be all legit :) Only the elementary version but its good enough for me ^^

EDIT: Ok so it has like half of what i remember the one i had having...will keep looking
EDIT": Alas thats the only free version they have. I'de buy it but £400 for it @_@ sigh.
