Nah, it's Mondays that suck, because you realize that no matter how much fun you had during the weekend, reality has come back for it's daily requirement of a part of your soul. Yes, if you can't tell, I've worked full time before, it wasn't fun.

Currently though? Fridays are my day off, so I really personally like them at the moment.

You mean a jack of all trades? I am that. But I just work in the one that pays the most...for now.
I mean queen of all trades.

Wait, that sounds highly homosexual. Let's pretend aces are high. Ahem...

I mean king of all trades!

I know there are a lot of 18 to 20 year olds on this site and you are all full of piss and vinegar and ready to grab life by the balls and show it who is boss. But lemme tell you something. After you get a real job and have to do the daily grind, it wears you down. And Friday afternoons become a time sink. You look up and see it is 2:30 pm. Half an hour rolls by and you look up again and it is only 2:35 pm. This is what you have to look forward too. I'm sorry.
Haha Funny you should mention, P.E = 30000 Meters...NO THANKS! Hehe It was very tiring I did it in 20Mins.

Friday afternoons are fine. Its working on Friday afternoons that sucks.
That was my point. What is even worse is when you have to "scrape together" work to keep you busy on a friday afternoon.
I wish I had to scrape together work; instead of trying to outrun the spiked wall.

So what's the discussion value here?

Or are you just complaining that life is utterly meaningless because your particular way of enjoying Friday afternoons is boring? Not to be a dick, but honestly, you just sound like a whiny kid. If you are bored, quit complaining and go do something. You know, other than complain on the internet.
Sorry to only now be getting back to you after discussing this subject with others. But it is hard to get up and do something while at work when you are stuck behind the desk and all you can do is vent on the internet.

Friday is awesome, knowing you have the weekend to do whatever you want is a great feeling [small](although this usually results in me not doing much except playing video games, eating and sleeping a whole lot, but that's what i enjoy, to each their own)[/small]

Although some weekends I do end up doing work at home, which kinda sucks, but that's life man, deal with it

Well, aside from finding that a really important library book for my coursework wasn't in the library (which I managed to work around anyway), my Friday afternoon has been great :p. I took part in a massive flashmob water fight with my university Assassin's Guild, the footage of which I will soon be editing into an awesome film. And I've spent the rest of the day in the student union, watching Irish Dance Society performing in the lobby and chilling out in the indie coffee shop in the basement. Of course, I have also spent the day working to finish an essay, the deadline of which is midnight tonight (and which I'm just about to submit online, having spent the past hour or so trying to reference it correctly). But nevertheless, my day's been awesome. And I have tomorrow off work and so I'm spending it with Assassins again, in a five-hour series of games (nerf and water fights) after which we'll probably end up going boozing. So a fun time is planned tomorrow too. Shame I have to spend the next week revising and preparing for exams, but still, it's all good at the moment :D.

Anyone else start reading the first post and think this was going to be a gripe about how Friday afternoons are when all the bored teenagers jump on online games and/or communities and start ruining it for the adults?

Then get a different job, everyone I know it that age bracket works. Shrugs.

Edit: did the forum rules change, it's starting to look like an image board in here?

suppose reaching one's dotage at age 30 would be quite disenchanting; perhaps a career change...

The only thing that redeem Fridays afternoon is that its....Friday after soon to be Friday evening.

The worst thing is when you are older and working daily, hating your job or that you have a very stressful job it seems life becomes that real shitty song "Everybody working for the weekend" so whilst waiting for the work week to pass so you can enjoy so personal time you making your life fly by faster just to reach friday night.
