Friendships and good relationships are empty promises

I hate having to start a conversation, lead the conversation, and having to set a time to meet again.

Not starting a conversation -> loneliness.

Not leading a conversation -> "Okay, bye, nice talking to you" -> loneliness.

Not setting a time to meet again -> loneliness.

It's always on me, every single step of the way, regarding men or women, they make me feel like I don't matter for either.

Some justify others' behaviour by claiming, they were shy.

I say, I used to be shy and nobody cared, so I won't care either if they are shy. I dealt with it, and it was hard, and they prefer watching instagram and procrastinating.

The real reason, based on my experience, is that they have self-righteous reasons like I wasn't good enough for them and they deserved "better".

So I won't bother trying to make their day like pickup guides suggest. Why don't they make my day for once?

I made so many humans' days and I never got anything back. Helping person A in city Y has never made person B in city Z help me.

Friendships and good relationships are empty promises anyways, those people who say "they were out there" had neither.

When it comes to social interactions, there is so many lies.

Holy hell, entitled much?

Who talks like that...?
In another thread you'd just replied to me with this:

Not a bot, pretty alive.
Are you sure about that???
Maybe you're an alien. I'm going to put my bets on alien

Lies are just part of being human, it's more about where they measure along the vast spectrum of severity/significance. Social expectations in an increasingly toxic system intentionally promoting capital, ownership and control ("faith" n religion too for those trapped in such environments) as the sole indicator of success will naturally funnel many humans - who already feel inadequate for all sorts of valid and/or invalid reasons - to present a version of themselves they believe is the only version will be accepted by those around them. Yeah the "I'm doing ok" response from suicidal depressed ppl to others' small talk questions is a cliché example, but for good reason. And "Fake it till you make it" is like a totally encouraged thing too, ain't it? Though if it needs to made clear, saying all that in no way should be interpreted as an excuse the dishonesty further up the spectrum like profiteering, cheating, conning, wage theft, everything in politics, actual harmful misdirection tomfuckery. Or if it's about self esteem, well some people can sense low self esteem in others quite easily and will most likely try their best to avoid damaging that, not wanting to cause a myriad of potential issues and complications further down the line by a mere few words. They have their own lives to live too.

Reading the OP, I may have an inkling as to why no one calls them to hang out.

What can we do to change our culture so that lying is less common?
