I was removing useless stuff from my computer and I noticed my Fraps-folder is 80 gigs. That's almost 1/3 of my hard drive. There's over 5000 videos in the folder.

My brother installed Fraps on my computer but I haven't used it much. I don't think I've ever even opened the program (until now). It seems that the default quickkey for recording is F9. Guess what's the quickkey for quickloading!

Has silly stuff like this happened to you?

Fraps saves videos as decompressed raw AVIs instead of WMVs, or at least compressed AVIs. This is because most computers [read 'all'] can't capture, save to a file and compress all at the same time.
Once you have footage from fraps, compile or compress it with VirtualDub, or make a compilation with Movie Maker or iMovie.

If you never opened it, it wouldn't record...
"Run Fraps when Windows starts."

It seems that was on by default.

EDIT: My brother might have turned it on too.
