So I got to reading a thread about mages and "God mode" and it just got me to thinking...
What if you were a bird or some other helpless creature/animal/human-with-no-powers and you bore witness to a spectacle such as a mage about to unleash arcane destruction? Or an armor clad Warrior about to trample his opponents underneath his might? Or a dragon loosing his elemental breath upon the battlefield?
Would you, as a bird perhaps, go "SQUUUAK THIS" and then fly away rapidly? Or as a ferret hoping your little natural home doesn't get completely renovated by a marauding giant? Maybe a small fawn looking from just outside the forest just frozen in place from the awe of such a thing?
What would you do in this kind of situation, if you were completely and utterly helpless?
