I got the game yesterday on steam. I didn't have any showstopper bugs, but I did have some weird ones. On the final map of story mode, the UI was suddenly in german, (I think) Also, I need V-Sync enabled, damnit, I hate tearing.
They are? Damn. I only played World In Conflict for the first time recently and I was hoping we'd one day see a sequel. Really a great game.Lordmarkus said:I cry each time I'm reminded that Massive Entertainment is under Ubisoft label. Instead of making World in Conflict 2 or something great they were turned into ubisofts porting house.
Seriously, they haven't made a game since 2007 and if we ever get another RTS from them it will be console exclusive with a horrible PC port 6 months later. It's so sad that it makes physicly angry.
same here, works perfectly fine. never crashed, always ran smooth. (same for 2 friends of me who own the game)GothmogII said:Is there a version for the PC that isn't Steam? I got the Steam version and it works fine for me. Plays smooth, looks great. And the controls, while a little iffy aren't as monstrously awful as I've read.
Granted. I know as it goes, just because I personally have had no problems with it so far, doesn't change the fact that a lot of other people seem to. Which is a shame, because there's a very good game here.
Finally! Someone just as rational as me. All of you guys who say "Ubi will never get another dime from me", do you hate Assassin Creed or are you just too blinded by rage? Honestly, it's not the end of the world, or do you just think "Anyone who plays a game as barbaric as Assassin's Creed is beneath me!" I'm not trolling, it just annoys me when people make empty promises.GothmogII said:Is there a version for the PC that isn't Steam? I got the Steam version and it works fine for me. Very reminiscent of Populous: The Beginning actually, minus the RTS elements in favor of a more puzzle based approach.
