Front Mission Evolved?

I played it and it was alright. I still like the early Front Mission Games. Evolved is more 3rd person shooter. I liked the older ones that were turn based strategy. I would say give it a try.
I saw it there to, I had a look at some reviews, most mentioned it was mediocre and forgettable so I gave it a miss.Korten12 said:

I just got it today. My only issue is it's hard as hell to find a game going online. No late joining and only auto-matching makes it difficult. The single-player has been fun so far. I got the game and all it's DLC for 18 bucks. So far seems like it was totally worth it.
By "Evolved" Square Enix means 'de-evolved into a bland action mech shooter'... then you would have to ask yourself, "Do I like bland mech shooters?"
Personally, I've played better and I found the gameplay meh-tastic, the storyline picked from a slew of cliche of stories all done better than this, and the characters about as one-sided as they come. I can only answer for roughly 5 hours of playing the game, so if any of this changes then I couldn't sit through the bad parts long enough to get to the good ones. Even at $12.50 I would hardly say the game is worth getting.

Be glad it's $12.50, I paid $50 for it and beat it in 4 hours. Front Mission 3 is still my favorite in the series.FrossetMareritt said:

Do NOT get it. Crap story, crap game play and so damn repetitive. Even customisation was at a minimum. The only thing good about it was I got $30 when I sold it to EB and I originally paid $15 lol.

I've only seen negative/mediocre reviews for it, and a demo that I tried at PAX was pretty awful. The demo may have been an earlier build or something. I think the game was front mission evolved. It was some forgettable mech game.
