I have just recently started using Kickstarter on a more regular basis and good thing too, because I have found my perfect RPG and have come to you guys to spread the word and get more support, even if it is just vocal and not backing.

Frontiers is an RPG focused mainly on exploration and discovery. It bases a lot of its influence in old school RPGs such as Daggerfall and mystery such as Morrowind. It is a game to immerse you in a fantasy world and discover new and amazing things. It is light on combat but there is still fighting and surviving.

It would be great to discuss it with this community that I love so much and to get some support for this. It has already passed its goal by a long shot and still 17 days to go!

Sounds awesome. Very keen. TES has let me down of late, perhaps this new kid can bring something fresh.

I agree with both of you. TES is getting more action oriented and less focused on the world and immersion.

@wombat_of_war: He is getting a team together depending on how successful the kickstarter is and that will help him populate the world better and with modding (If it gets to the stretch goal) the community will help with that.

And I was just about to make a thread about a survival game in medieval times. I really wanna have a bow-focused character.

This would be pretty cool, but I am not sure what weapons will be in the base game but if it gets enough money to reach the mod stretch goal I am sure people will add bows in rather quickly, if they aren't already in the base game.

Interesting, this looks up my alley. Thanks for showing it to everyone.

Not many games that are about exploring, I am seeing more these days with all the new indie type games and experimental games. Like Dear Esther or Journey, but nothing on the scale of Frontiers in terms of size. I will have to keep an eye on this game. :)
