"Fuck this" moments

The helicopter turret section in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. There's one area where your flying through near a village and there's a lot of guys with rockets. At almost all times you have 1-2 guys about to shoot at you and it only takes 2 rockets to kill you on easy mode. You have to sweep through them flawlessly, otherwise you get blown up in a couple of seconds. Tried 10 times and failed each time. I'll I could think is "Fuck it, I'm doing online.". I came back and tried again the next morning. I did 6 tries. On that last one the gods of gaming looked down upon my pitiful situation and gave me a blessing allowing me to just barely make it out. I left that area with 6/100 armor points left. Fucking ridiculous.

Certain bosses in FFXIII. I don't know if I suck at that game or if it's really just difficult. Doesn't matter, I'mma beat it either way.

The Force Unleashed throwing you into an instant death pit that you get within ten feet of. Well, that's an over exageration, but I still died a lot because of those stupid pits.

Combat in Mirror's Edge was a pain, especially since I wanted the enemies to leave me alone so that I could do some more Parkour.

Oh yeah, and the steering in Mario Kart Wii made me want to pierce the TV screen with the Wiimote. It was aweful.

Id say Mass effect 2 inside the collectors ship the first time on veteran difficulty or in general MW2's online aspect it really just makes you want to quit when 10 year olds are crying because you blew them outta the map with an RPG

OT-I dont get why anyone says that any CoD game on veteran mode is "hard", there is no "game over" so so long as you continue to throw yourself at the level you WILL get through it. *sorry if someone pointed this out here already but really dont feel like browsing all these posts*
Anyways my moment came when I was playing Fight Night Round 3, on the last achievement fight and I get roflstomped, being fair I go eh I will take the loss and game ends up skipping me ahead to another round....needless to say I cost myself a controller at that point and I haven't touched it since.

I remember, a time when I was really small, getting Mario and Luigi:Superstar Saga. I played until you had to escort that bimbo Princess Peach through a desert. So, there were certain rules to this.

1. If the Princess touched an enemy, she got kidnapped.
2. If the Princess left the screen, she got kidnapped.

At the same time, you had to run around, deactivating traps, and opening gates, and defeating monsters so she wouldn't get kidnapped. I can't remember how many times I screamed at the Princesses idiocy. "No! Don't freaking walk into that guy! He's not even freaking walking towards you! Stop getting kidnapped!"

As I recall, you could talk to her and get her to walk back to where she started, but you had to stop what you were doing, even if that includes jumping off the random cliff thing that you were trying to get the barrel off (It made sense at the time) and then talk to her, and then go all the way back, and then let the Princess get kidnapped. It was infuriating.

I just stopped, when, at the final gate, I stopped and watched her walk through, out of the desert.

And then get kidnapped.

It turns out that the end of my viewing screen, was slightly under where the level ended. So, a few steps from freedom, the Princess promptly got kidnapped again. Back to the very beginning.

My little 8 year old self just threw the Gameboy onto his bed and pouted.

For me it has to be the normal Pokemon gym leader in Hart Gold. She healed her damn Milktank so many f***ing times that I actualy yelled at cussed her out.

I have alot of these moments, usually before I actually try a level.
especially in armored core for answer.
first time i fought the Answerer i dropped the controller and left teh room. fuck it I thought. It can spam freakin assault armor, bullets and guns do nothing to it.....fuck it.(I was kinda dumbfounded when i realized that it's easier on hard mode)
Um, I also had major moment in DMC 3. fighting Cerberus for the umpteenth time. I just couldn't beat the bastard! Well, I did eventually but seriously! Second bosses should not be that hard!
Also, the bajillionth try on Ninja gaiden hard mode. First level wasn't as bad once I figured out the attack patterns, but fuck after that i just gave the crap up.

The Abrams Tank escort mission in Prototype. Why the fuck are there so many hunters? Why the FUCK does the military not send them any backup? I am out of helicopter ammo, WHY THE FUCK ARE THERE NO OTHER HELICOPTERS?!

A lesser fuck this moment came at the time that I realized that in the original Bad Company, if you don't play the normal mode before you play the hard mode, hard mode does not give you both achievements for completing the level. And Airstriking a house for fifteen minutes nonstop since you have only a shotgun and the house has snipers leaves the roof and building supports, so the bad guys don't take any damage.

Any part of Ninja Gaiden 2...but that part that made me go Apeshit was the fucking final boss, I had my ass beat multiple times by different bosses for different reasons, and this was not exception, I was like FUCK THIS GAME AND FUCK YOU KOEINMA or whatever the hell the company name is TEAM NINJA!

At the moment, BC2. Nothing particularly wrong with the game (besides when you get guys spawn camping in conquest to steal your tanks...), just frustrating trying to adapt to the omnipresent lag (server browser shows a server with a ping of 15, I join and my ping is 165, very annoying) and different play style.

Nothing particularly wrong with the game? Two words - Magnum. Rounds.
I swear to god I hopped online with a lowbie account at a net cafe and got ripped to shreds. IMO the game is more broken than modern warfare 2, just different types of problems. THAT was my Fuck This moment.

Joining a game in CoD4, favourite map, then hearing a little kid trying to be tough guy. The thing that makes me think "Fuck this."? The fact that you cant mute them before the minute before the game starts.

Sadly, I really couldn't think of anything until I caught a glimpse of this. I'd say, yeah. An ex-girlfriend of mine told me to get Twilight so I bought the entire saga. I still have it. I can't pawn it off (I want money) for the books. I got to chapter seven in the first book in roughly an hour to close it and never touch it again. It's been at least a year a couple months since.

In Oblivion: Shivering Isles there is a mission where you have to retrieve an item from a ruin. I found the item but it was behind a gate that had to be unlocked from "somewhere else" Spent an hour trying to find the switch, and eventually said "fuck this!" haven't touched oblivion since.
