Hi,

don't know if you guys already knew but on FOX.com there are a lot of full episodes from nice shows like gotham or sleepy hollow. Most of the episodes are free but the newest have to be paid.
The thing is that after some time all episodes are getting deleted. That is why I was wondering if there is a possibility to save episodes on your hard disc? Ideally a recorder would save the episode in a format that I can use on my tablet and so on so I might even be able to watch episodes on the go..?
If anybody had any ideas that would be awesome;)
Thanks!

I don't know about FOX but there are typically two ways that you can try in order to record videos from any webpage. First you can try a browser plugin like downloadhelper(for firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/).
This works pretty easy by just hitting the button download.

I fear that FOX as a big entertainment provider will have some restrictions to protect videos from being downloaded. If this is the case, the process will become a little harder to manage. But it still is possible by using a Fox recorder like Audials Moviebox. The software is roughly capturing your screen. Downside is that Audials is not for free and your computer has to be turned on while watching. I made some good results with it though. If you are interested check this process description: http://audials.com/en/how_to_record_stream_capture_music_videos_movies_from/fox.html

Not sure what i can suggest because i am not sure what is considered piracy and what is acceptable.

for starters if you are on android you can grab youtube downloader. if you can find eps on youtube you can download straight to your tablet or phone which is how i watch 99.99% of my youtube content thanks to their inability to correctly market to me.

also another thumbs up for video download helper.

Personally I use GotFlash made by the same add-on developer who I cannot say it is without fearing permaban.
