Full HD or HD Ready?

I'm buying a new TV soon. I'm wondering, if I should buy a Full HD one or a HD Ready one? Is there a big difference in quality, or is it something you don't notice unless you really pay attention to it? And most importantly, is Full HD worth the extra price?

Please share your oppinions on the matter.

1080p.

just get a 1080p TV. ignore what they call it, just talk to the people at the store, and make sure the TV displays 1080p. That is the High def standard, and buying anything less is sub-standard.

basically go full HD, but make sure the TV you buy supports all framerates (which the label "FULL HD 1080p" does not inherently imply.

Get 1080p. It's not that expensive anymore. You can get 40" 1080p LCDs now for like 600 bucks.

i got a 26 inch HD from Bestbuy that supports 480, 720, and 1080p for only roughly 300
