Special Agent Milton Dammers was played by Jeffrey Combs. Apparently he adlibbed many of his lines, and was given almost complete control over the character's personality and mannerisms. Combs had a lot of fun playing the character, and I think it really shows on-screen.Drake666 said:...Micheal J. Fox and the crazy FBI agent really sold this movie for me.

If you like Jeffrey Combs, he stars as scientist Herbert West in The Re-Animator (1985) which is pretty amusing too. And it's definite his performance that sells the movie.
Ha! As someone (almost) of an age with you, I know that feel. None of this fancy modern DVD freezeframe! Oh the days of pausing and trying to squint through the flickering jumpy static and dodgy tracking at a fuzzy low-res image of whatever treasure had been spotted. The days when pausing a film wasn't instant; it came with a brief delay, so timing was everything.Sampler said:I'd totally forgotten about that film, thought it was a great find when I wasn't supposed to be watching films with naked ladies in (showing my age a bit, ahh, you kids will never know the thrill I've finding softcore vhs)
