A good number of dystopian sci-fi stories have large Corporations that can over power and even replace governments. This includes having multiple department including private military and police forces. I am just curious as which real life corporations you guys could become like this in that setting and explain their advantages and disadvantages as if they were a faction in a video game. I'll start.
Costco, the Kirkland brand that Costco produces has multiple contracts to have a wide variety of products under its label form food to toys and even clothing, including wedding dresses. They would likely be one of those mega corp. Their biggest advantage is that Costco's real life status a a ware house store means that in any form you could get cheap and decent gear form them at a low cost but the disadvantage is that a lack of specialization means that they could be out-classed easily.
