I recently convinced a friend to buy Just Cause 2 instead of Gears: Judgment (because frankly I could live without it) and having not played the game before, was pleasently surprised. I was impressed with the massive map, beautifull landscapes, variety of vehicles, and of course the RANDOM AND RAMPANT CHAOS! Within the first hour of playing this game I had found or done at least 30 things I have never done in a game before, and there is such a large area and variety of things to do, I don't see how I could ever get bored with this game.

So as not to rant on how awesome my initial exprerience was, I would like to ask my fellow escapists what some of the interesting things they've done on either this game or ones like it. For example: the first things I did was to use the parachute-grappling combo to spiderman around the map, then drive cars/boats/airplanes towards objects jumping on the roof and pulling the parachute for an aireal view of the destruction.

So let the dump of hilarious destruction commence.

One of my favourite pasttimes of Just Cause 2 is to summon a vehicle on top of a massive mountain and just drive off the edge. Watching cars tumble and roll down the slopes and eventually explode in a massive fireball is always good for a laugh.

Hooking a car up to a plane as it's taking off. Get in the car. Hilarity ensues.

Also playing the beta multiplayer mod is an experience, so many plane crashes.

Only a car? I once hooked one of those small jet fighters onto a passenger liner as it took off. Fun times were had, and the fighter even survived, sort of. Passenger liner didn't, in a big way.

Unfortunetly I have the xbox version so I don't have the multiplayer, that is the only way I could think of that would make it even more ridiculous.

I like to tether random passers-by to oncoming traffic. Basically, what games like this teach me is that if I had super powers and/or high-tech equipment, I would be a colossal dick.

Mods.
TONS AND TONS OF MODS.
The vanilla game is already so much fun, but with insane mods like this one, it just gets funnier.
