The most awesome Song/Music you can think of to have at a funeral.

The final countdown!

Karaoke stand for those who actually want to use it

With the timer and at the 0:00 point a massive BEEP and the coffin rockets off into a explosion behind the curtains!

With little sparks on the viewers side...

Taped and message to every religion with "How a funeral should be" on the front

It would have to be "Here I Go Again", by Whitesnake. If eternal recurrence is a reality, then that's going to be doubly funny to me (but then again, I'll be dead, so I'm sure I'll shut the fuck up for once).

Well, I'll have to go with Taishō.a
Just because the lyrics are fitting.
"I cover your corpse with soil
Even if that is forbidden"
One of the songs I would have played at my funeral.
Not that I'll have one. Make of that what you will.

Although its an utterly obvious choice I've always said I want Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum played at my funeral. Not that I particularly believe in Heaven or Jesus, but the thought is nice.. that if thats what it comes to, that's where it is.

"A Bid Farewell" by Killswitch Engage

Not one of the live versions though, they tend to sound a touch too screamy...

"Starlit Eyes" by System of a Down.

Go listen to it, it's got a section that reads like an epitaph.

"Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance.
I'm not really a big fan of their music, but hearing the song I could easily imagine it playing at my funeral.

My grandma had this at her funeral last month, along with Bat Out of Hell.

OffT: Didn't we do this a week ago?

OnT: I'd go with something like Run to the Hills, or some classic rock, Highway to Hell, Back in Black, Smoke on the Water, Black Dog. Something odd but well loved.
