What is the song that you want played at your funeral, you know the song that is played and how while its playing people sit back and remeber you, what is the song you want played for you...?

For me, it would be La Mar (The Ocean) By The Beautiful Girls, it is a very slow song and is already about Death, and having lived a full life, as what i hope mine will be like when i have a funeral, hopefully a while away...

Another One Bites the Dust by Queen.
It would remind them of my cynicism and ultimately, their inevitable death.
I'd be dead and still they can't stop me.

One Answer:

CHA-LA! HEAD CHA-LA! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GG3NXDWm3uE]

There'll also be an ice-sculpture of the original RX-78 Gundam at the funerary reception. And chocolate fondue.

this one: Endless Possibilities
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=endless+possibilities&emb=1&aq=0&oq=endless+poss#

For a few reasons:

It was made for the game sonic unleashed, I'm not a fanboy in any sense of the word but I just like sonic because he can run so fucking fast!! and I love running fast so yeh

It fits my parkour philosophy perfectly.

and it's just awesome

alternatively I might have Coldplay's Vive La Vida or Never gonna give you up by rick astley, god I love that song

I'd have my old choir friends do an acapella rendition of Do You Realize?? by the Flaming Lips and Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap.

I would have some of my better friends rig up a device that would make a fake arm burst through the top of the coffin right at the climax of that one Carmen Burana song.

You know, saw some wookies. Great big wookies.

'Your guardian angel' by Jumpsuit apparatus.
And 'Highway to hell.'
Hopefully I won't be dying soon, though :p

Hit Me Baby One More Time. If there is an afterlife and I could see everyone's reaction, it might be fun. Otherwise it really doesn't matter since I'm dead.

Now this is a rather morbid discussion, isn´t it. I´ll contribute and propose Led Zeppelin´s Stairway to Heaven. It´s simply an awesome song. I wouldn´t mind going to whatever lies beyond while this is playing.

Really depends on what I eventually manage to accomplish in life - anything in the entertainment industry and it'd definitely be "The Entertainer" by Billy Joel.

Can't think of anything else right now actually.

I'd probably choose 'Champange Supernova' by Oasis. It's long, has all kind of elemnts in it that will remind everyone what a bastard/friend I've been. And it ends quiet.

Or 'Breathe me' by Sia? That´s a tear drainer...

Either 'Farewell' by Apocalyptica, which is a beautiful instrumental, or 'Oasis' by Tarja Turunen. The latter is in Finnish, but the lyrics (the English translation, as well as how they are sung in Finnish) are simply stunning and very moving.

"I'm Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina And The Waves ^-^

either "Mad World" by Gary Jules, or "Concrete Angel" by Martina McBride

then again im not sure i even want a funeral, i might just ask to be cremated and scattered, no fancy funeral thing

I did one of those shuffle your playlist quiz thingers the other day and the song that came up for what song is going to be played at my funeral was Quitter by Toadies. I laughed so hard at that.
