Funky Glitches.

so i was playing dead rising 2 earlier this week. I was in the Yucatan casino on top on the Megaman 10 slot machines, so tried doing an elbow drop on a zombie from way up, and when hit him i severed his leg but the rest of his body froze in mid air. i tried hitting him with my bat, it just went right trough him.

so escapists what weird glitches have you run into while gaming?

Oh, what indeed!

The flying Deathclaw, for one. Find a Deathclaw somewhere far, like in a valley, try to shoot down at him in VATS, and see...if he doesn't go flying off into the air, never to be seen again.

Other than that, most of the glitches I can remember from other, non-Bethesda games have just been the game crashing unexpectedly.

Oh dear... the choices the choices... lets see, I had this one in The Bourne Identity where I found a place I (apparently) shouldn't have. I cleared out this large room and was looking for the door to the next area. I ended up hitting a door to open it and the door just disappears. Outside of the door is the area that was not finished, letting me see inside of rooms I had and hadn't gone to. I stared at it for a while, then ran into it, took fall damage and died. I have yet to see anyone but me have that glitch in that game. Made me laugh. Just the one I chose cuz no one else had that one happen.

In the original STALKER, characters would sometimes spawn in campfires. While this was really irritating in the case of important npcs, it was rather funny to stumble across a group of stalkers sitting around a campfire with the corpse of their comrade on it. That always made me hungry, dunno why...

One GREAT one from the Borderlands Secret Armory DLC.

When you get there, theres a specific spot where you can drop through the floor into a passage. Said passage drops you into the Armory itself.

Now it may seem like an inconvient shortcut, but what was supposed to happen is you, the player, charging about the place sucking up as much gun as possible in a set time before the place blew up, with you in it.

With the bug, you could go about your looting at your pace. Just have a suicide plan handy, because thats the only way out.

I've got another one, i was playing scott pilgrim vs the world, and i was on the grave yard level. I've just gone into hyper mode and was beating up a zombie with hyper combo (or what ever it's called) and someone hits me from behind and for some reason my cash amount started going berserk. it just kept going up until my hyper mode ended, i went from $300 to over $1500 in a few seconds, I've never been able to get this glitch to work again.

It's midnight right now, so I almost suffocated laughing. Awesome.

OT: I was playing some game and the character's arm got caught on a moving vehicle. It stretched out for a couple seconds, then the character was pulled toward it and launched like a slingshot. Needless to say I died.

Resident Evil: Code: Veronica.

In the early RE games, to go up to a flight of stairs and you had to press a button in front of them to go up or down. As such, there is an invisible barrier at the top and bottom of a flight of stairs.
I was at the top of a short flight of stairs (at the end of the game, where the cannon with the crystal ball is) and there was a zombie at the bottom. The zombie was stuck at this invisible wall, walking into it, trying to get at me.
I shot him with my AK, and he fell to his knees, but didn't fall any further, so he was kneeling there.
I stepped down the stairs, and right into the zombie. He was still kneeling, with me standing in front of him.
The result: the zombie's face was in Claire's crotch.
I laughed.
Hard.
