Has there ever been a time where you do something either funny, stupid, or just silyl and ended up getting some sort of in-game reward or gratification like Achievement or Trophy?

Just now I was playing through FEAR, and since I got shot a bunch of times from behind cover I just thought "Fuck it" and ran towards the enemy soldier and threw some grenades at the floor to kill us both and saying "Allah Hu Akbar!" (EDIT: I actually referred to Family Guy).

An achievement pops out?

I just got an achievement for doing something stupid and funny! Mind you it gave me ZERO points.

Anyone else has had a moment like this?

There was an achievement in Resident Evil 5 called "Be the knife" in which you had to block a projectile with your knife. Sounds pretty simple, but it's not really. The odds of finding an enemy throwing a weapon at you without anyone else to hinder your concentration is hard enough. Timing is the worst part though.

Now me and my brother were playing and we came across a Sniper Rifle...which he proceeded to take before I could get my grubby little hands on it. Naturally I got mad and chased him while swinging my knife in the air and yelling "COME BACK HERE!" Well, it turns out we ran into a group of baddies and one had thrown an Ax at me. As it flew by, I clipped it with my Blade and didn't even notice it until I heard "Bleep Bloop" and then the achievement appearing on screen.

"Allah Hu Akbar!" (cookie for reference).
It's Arabic for "The Lord is great", and suicide bombers in Iraq usually yell it just before blowing up themselves and some Coalition soldiers.

On-topic, I remember killing the 53,595th zombie in Left 4 Dead to get the "zombie genocidest" achievement. We had close all the doors with a horde attacking us, and suddenly they started raining down on my friend through a shattered window. I fired my M16 at a point midway between him and the source of the zombies (this was on Expert, so I couldn't risk hitting my teammate). One of my sprayed shots caught a zombie in the head, and gave me the achievement.

In Battlefield: Bad Company, a common method of signalling to a tank driver that you're reading to operate the turret is to fire its machine gun. I got into a tank, the driver couldn't hear me, so I fired at a palm tree. This gave me the achievement "Forest Ranger" for knocking down 1,000 trees.

Split/Second has a 0-point achievement for trying to take a shortcut and failing, causing you to crash. 0-point achievements are fairly common. I want to make a game with a 1-point achievement called "Achievement Obsessed", for clearing EVERY SINGLE challenge in the game with a top ranking. There's also a 99-point achievement for clearing 90% of these challenges, called "Can't get the last few".

Frontlines: Fuel of War. If you're trying to fly the jets for the first time without a manual, you're bound to get the achievement "Noob" for killing yourself 8 times in a match.

ESPECIALLY when you're trying to land it.

In RDR when I thought how cool if I reenacted the stuff you see in old cartoons where some dastardly villain ties a women to the rail road tracks, then discovered I wasn't the only one to come up with that idea when I got an achievement for it...0o

Hehe I was actually thinking of Family Guy when I said it, except I wasn't riding a bicycle or had a Palestinian alarm clock.

Borderlands has one like that for the final boss who is fought in two waves.

The first is killing him while he is human and not much of a challenge, then the credits roll and he comes back to life and you fight him again. Beating him this time nets you a 99 point achievement. The first wave nets you a 1 point achievement.

Fable 2, I kicked a chicken. 'Nuff said.
Really? i thought that the one where you shoot the rabbit was a lot better.
Well, I didn't know about the achievement before I kicked the chicken. I just did it out of pure spontaneity. The rabbit one, I got after finding out it was an achievement.

In Bioshock 2, in Ryan Amusements where all of the animatronic Andrew Ryans I got the achievement "9 Irony", just because I was messing around and thought it would be funny to take off his head with the putter in the corner. Didn't even realize it was an achievement, and netted me 5 whole points.

It wasn't me playing, but I watched a recording of slowbeef playing the new Dead to Rights for the first time. He accidentally figured out how to bite a guys balls off in the first stage, the first time he attacked an enemy, and then got an achievement for it.

I think it's hilarious that achievements are like that now. Weren't they supposed to be at least difficult to get, and not for just button mashing?

Mass Effect.

I had a rather tense moment with Wrex, he was upset about me having to destroy the Genophage cure Saren had.

First time, I failed to get him to stay on my side, and Ashley shot him. Second time, I was able to use a charm option, which got me the Charismatic achievement, when I was least worried about getting one.

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. I had a shotgun. Me just being an idiot rushed into a room full of baddies. Five guys, five shells. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. I was playing with a friend, as soon as the fourth baddy dropped my friend says.
"You love that thing don't you?"
Fifth drops.
"I like the sound it makes."
Achievment with the same name, which I didn't know about...
