I was searching for an old thread to necro, and save myself being flamed for creating one that has been done many times before, when I found this. The second post down's poster was banned for some unrelated thread which has since 404'd, but I got a laugh when I saw that he had been permabanned after over --11,000 POSTS--.
I thought that was pretty damn funny.
What are the funniest things you guys have seen on the forums? Funny threads, funny bannings, terribly proofread or idiotic posts, it's all good. Links are good too.

Edit: Okay so according to his profile he continues to post, to this very day, and only a few minutes ago, in fact. Thread is still valid, even if my above comment is not. Also, little confused?

Edit of the above edit: I was wrong about being wrong. Reading stuff incorrectly this morning. Terribly sorry, everyone, feel free to list this as the most pathetic thing you have seen posted on this forum.

What comes to mind is when someone was talking about having pickpocketed the big fan in Oblivion 50.000 times to gain sneak level. I responded with a gay-joke. Let me see if I can find it..

Oh yeah. I've seen some high-larious posts but i can't really recall any recent ones. And huby is pretty funny.

Also, I fail to see how getting banned is funny...

Also this huge thread full of people telling stories about rediculously thick customers they get at work. Its awesome.

I'm not having a go at the aforementioned 'ban-ee', I simply find it funny that after 11,000 posts, after which you would surely be considered something of an expert on the forum, he makes the mistake of doing something so terribly wrong on the forum on which he must have spent so much time, to be permanently banned.
It's not like it's a matter of a little 'slip of the tongue', so to speak, it's a permanent banning, which begs the question; 'what did he actually do?'

I couldn't tell you about Indigo Dingo, but I saw Max and NMS get banned. I miss them a lot, but they both went over the line with the comments they got kicked for. I think they both got tired of some of the stupid shit that goes on and posted how they really felt, consequences be damned.

At least they went out with a bang.

A very quiet bang, considering so many people took their time to notice, but still.

That's not funny... I miss that guy. In fact I miss just about all of the long term posters who got banned, but they probably did something to deserve it. That's why I relatively unknown on the forums... maybe one day when I'm gone someone will miss me.
