Feel guilty for what? There's only one person who got physically harmed and he's the one who ended up winning. The kid isn't going to have anything so any harm caused is temporary.
This. There's nothing to feel bad about there, maybe this scare will teach either the kid to not go around biting random strangers or the mom to actually control her kid.

Either way, everyone wins.

I don't for a second think that the HIV story is true. The point is, though, wouldn't it be fantastically satisfying if it DID actually happen? Too many childen these days are spoiled, over-entitled little sh*ts who know full well they live consequence-free lives.

Wait, in what country are kids running around, biting people in supermarkets?
A kid tried it with me (I live in Australia) but screaming out I'm HIV positive wouldn't have been too helpful considering I go to Woolies regularly.
I just spun the kid round and let him fall. Serves him right for trying to bite me.

and yea, the story is hilarious.

Started off fairly boring.

Within one line instantly a classic, why does everyone else always come up with the best lines for situations. Goddamnit.

Hilarious. Serves him right, and might teach the mother to keep better control over her kids in future.
This. No harm was actually done to the child, and maybe the fear will teach both of them a very valuable lesson.

Was kind of curious about that myself too. Kids running around being generally annoying brats is common enough, but going around biting people? Where does that happen? And not only does it happen apparently, but it's mentioned so casually it comes across as if it's actually a common occurrence.
Exactly.. How, why and where is this normal behaviour?
UK for one its not normal behavior but you can find that 3-5 yo boys will generally do stuff like bite you or kick you or sit on the floor crying. And the worst part is when you either deal with the situation by punting the kid down the hall telling the kid off or talking with it's mother and they say that its not the kids/their fault and berate you for interfering in their "oh so fabulous" parenting

I love that story.
Makes me feel warm in that part of my heart that holds all my loathing for cunty kids and parents who neglect to teach them manners.
That's not manners, that's basic domestication. You put down dogs for biting people too often. Especially when they draw blood. Children should at least be on the level of domesticated animals in behavior, whether or not they say please and thank you is another matter entirely.

That's fucking hilarious. But also kinda harsh if you really witnessed it.

I hate little shits in super markets, my child who is 2.5 is very well behaved, the moment She play up we're drop everything and leave a shop, I hate little children running around being a pain in the fucking arse, so I will not let mine do the same to others.
