Considering how much hatred there seems to be flying about on the internet about furfags, I find an attempt at a guiness record of showing the most of them in the shortest amount of time is hilarious to no end. *grins* That said...hrm...Japan probably has a different take on action-RPG but...*shrug* what do I know.
I don't know if it was your intention, but using the term "furfags" even if no actual hate is behind it is not welcome on this site.
The term is used to express the biased disdain of said individuals, lumping all furry-lovers into zealots that, quite frankly, *all* fandoms have in one way or another. Hence me saying that I find it amusing. Had I actually been against furries, I would probably *not* have found it as amusing...this is precisely why I find it funny these hateful people get to rage a bit more if they happen across this little commercial blitz they're planning. :p
I understand, and that's cool man. But I'd probably get some heat if I said,

"man those KKK guys really hate ni**ers" (without the censoring obviously)

Because in the context it's not absolutely clear weather I call black people ni**ers or KKK does.

Well, at least this game will take up the attention of DeviantArt for a short while.

Although that is a metric fuckton of commercials. I hope the Japanese like seeing the same game being advertised over and over.

Looks good enough for me, i hope it comes out in europe it looks so promising. Over here you don't get much of that stuff and i have sky HD tv around 999 channels and no manga or anime stations or shows like Gundom, Narieto, sailers moon etc. Please god and hope for the best.

I read some youtube comments. Apparently Red can change into a human. It would be pretty neat if that happened and everyone went, "Oh my God! What have you become?"

Namco Bandai is attempting to achieve a Guinness World Record with the promotion.
Attempting? You mean they could fail?! How embarassing would that be, to fail at commercial slots. The game/commercial is so bad the network refuses to keep showing them.

Why is everyone so concerned about a US release? The game is breaking a world record and seems to have a lot of effort put into it. Im sure they wont forget to release it here. Most games made in japan end up making it overseas. Just give it some time.

plus im really looking forward to it

I would approve that in the US, it is political season here and I am in a swing state.
I feel your pain.

OT: It's so crazy it might just work! (Hey! Two cliches in one post, I'm on a roll!) ((make that three))

Urggg... Furries... You know for about 2 years i didn't think shit that weird existed. I simply wouldn't belive humanity was THAT fucked up.
Watch it buddy, that kind of talk is against the rules.

But perhaps you're just ignorant. so to give you the benefit of the doubt let me educate you. The majority of the furry fandom has nothing to do with sex.

Each will give a new tidbit on the Solatorobo story, including information about Red, the anthropomorphic fox main character that rides around various mechs, and the fact that Solatorobo takes place on an island floating above a sea of deadly plasma.
Like every anime ever made.

/blatant generalization

Honestly, if I kept seeing commercials for the same damn product every few minutes I would probably get more annoyed by it than anything. I'm interested in seeing how this works out.

Anything that makes commercials actually worth watching is okay with me. Seen a commercial once, you've seen it 50 times before the week is over. Hell, I personally watch only a few hours of TV in any given month and even I get tired of the commercials, I can only imagine how bad it gets for people who watch TV regularly.

Everybody is "fucked up" in some way. The only thing that makes any one person more fucked-up than the other is the number of people who are willing to agree that the other guy is more fucked-up.

You're complanining about furries? Even when there is way more sick stuff out there than some people liking a humanized animal?

I support this idea. As long as it's not the same commercial shown every few minutes, it sounds like a clever grasp at publicity. I'm all for variety in advertising.

As for the game itself, I've heard nothing so I can't judge. Although the premise sounds interesting enough.

Lies! I've heard of Tail Concerto. Never played it though. I'll probably get this game now that I know it exists though, I love RPGs when they don't try (and always, ALWAYS fail) to be all serious and deep.

Also, ARG! You always write such good stuff, why does everyone like the new Fallout games? >_< Not even comparing to 1+2, just on their own they're so unbelievably bad and uninteresting. Maybe some Marvel vs Capcom 3, Kirby's Epic Yarn, or MHF3 commercials would be cool.

It's funny - If the headline wasn't "Furry action-RPG..." and the word was otherwise not mentioned in the article, even with the image remaining, not one person would have said a single thing about furries. When you see a game (or cartoon for that matter) featuring a non-human character, the first that comes to mind isn't likely to be that anything is out of the ordinary. Probably because it isn't out of the ordinary at all.

Humorous observation; not meant to be good or bad.
