Cartoon Network's rerhendition, [http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1378/912750096_a9baa84a1b.jpg?v=0] from recently.

Sure, there is only so much one can do with making Dexter more realistic, but still.
It hurts a little.
A little? I'm about to friggin' cry here, why must children take my childhood they should have their own! (sees the irony in enjoying Bugs Bunny and other loony tunes characters)

I should write a angry little saying that if they do ...that to the Eds or if Nick tries it with Spongebob or the Angry Beavers there will be pissed off teen hell to pay...
Ohhh bad call on the Ed's. They have pictures in their character section of all cartoon network characters in it. They all look really bad. Except for Grim. he actually looks pretty cool.

Yeah, I've been hearing about this for awhile now. I can't honestly say I'm pleased to see many of my favorite childhood/preteenage cartoons butchered, but neither can I really blame Cartoon Network for taking this step. Anime is very "in" right now. They know that kids will flock to anything remotely similar to anime these days, especially if it involves the re-imagining of something they already know. "Wooooah! Dexter meets Naruto! Cool! *clickclickclickclick*"

In my opinion, you just have to understand that CN is doing exactly what it's supposed to be doing: Appealing to it's core demographic. To expect them to also cater to the older fans who grew up with the network is natural, but completely unrealistic. That's what Boomerang is for.

Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed a distinctly Bleedman feel about the game's art style.

My son was quite excited to hear about this ... but then we discovered that they don't support play for anyone outside the US/Canada. He was quite upset.

*shudder* Cartoon Network characters... Never really had good experiences with them.. but that sounds strangely.. impossible? MMORPGS are usually "intelligent" for lack of a better word, and I always but Cartoon Network on the other side of that..
MMOs are intelligent? Since when?
Like I said, for lack of a better word.. I'm pretty sure it was Yahtzee who brought this up but: FPS=Twitching. MMO=Think and click

You do make a convincing argument. And unfortuantly I can't find something against it. Touche.

I know. we don't need to see Dexter like that. Not all Anime is bad, but look what Anime did to the Powerpuff girls?

Dexter was fine just the way it was.
