Not sure if this is old news to anyone who really cares but it's still pretty disgusting. Part of what makes a show like this work is the vocal cast. Especially as the original actors know how their characters work.

FOX owns Futurama. Comedy Central is being allowed to air it, but doesn't hold the rights to the IP.

The link won't open for me, but this is the first I've heard of them changing the voice actors. I'd heard the series would be coming back in 2010, but I thought they would keep the original actors. Even so, I think I'l give it a shot before I call it a failure.

Anyway, it's sad that they're going. Cartoon shows usually have an advantage that you can change actors, as the only difference would be the voices, but getting rid of main character actors? That just isn't going to end well.

But FOX hates Futurama! They proved it by cancelling it and by at first not wanting to support any movies!

Why must they leech off this show?
I feel sorry for the new voice actors, they have massive shoes to fill, and even if they do a good job, most fans will never accept them, ever.
