Future Soldier

Now I love tom clancy games, but this one harldy quickened my pulse..

I have conviction, 3rd person, quite good at action, and rainbow six 2 (slightly more about sniping enemies from a distance).. future soldier seems like a bit of a blend of the 2, which to me just seems unneccesary..

also the optic camo just looks like it would make things ridiculously easy..

like at 2.10ish in, you can see the enemy looking blatantly at him and doesnt notice him- no camo could ever be that good from that distance (I beleive the current technology involves a camera in the back projecting the image to the front- would make a damn good camo, but far from invisible..)

opinions?

I would say that the Rule of Cool applies here. While it may not be completely plausible, it is still pretty awesome. I think it'll be a fun addition to the game.

The camo thing is... nice, but you're right it did seem to make things look quite easy. I have to admit the group takedown part was very cool though - that is the type of thing that I would look forward to while playing.

I just wish they would make a game that is more like the original Ghost Recon games. Those were sweet. And on that note I wish the same for the Rainbow Six games too.

The camo thing's obviously going to be balanced in some way, and Clancy games are more about a slight suspension of disbelief but also the possibilities that are cropping up in terms of technology that they give you in the game.
