Technology is always going to improve, it's the one thing we can rely on. But how do you think it will improve? What kind of tech do you think will be available in the future?

It could be 10 years from now, or 100 years, or even 1000. Entertainment, travel, medicine, or even day-to-day tech.

My prediction? I think there will eventually be a game console that requires no controller. And I'm not talking about Kinect's motion sensor, I mean you control the game with your very thoughts, Matrix-style. The technology will probably be first used for medical purposes, (brain scans etc.), but will soon be adapted for entertainment.

You turn!

1900 England:
Students whom studied at the greatest University would learn technology and only 2 years later in their junior/senior years have new technology which were not just better, but vastly superior to the technology they learned just a year or two ago.

Skip to 2011 America or World:
Students go to a University in any of the major countries and can go from day 1 of their first year and finish with a PhD and the technology they learned hasn't really improved all too much.

Sure, phones are the new big crave and a new hi-tech or smart phone comes out every year that one ups the previous model, but as for technology as a whole, nope.

Humans in general will continue to advance our technology, but until we find that one piece of technology to advance us 200 years forward, as seen in many games; such as Mass Effect, our advances are slowing down to a decade before something new comes out. I expect that by 2020, we will have some kind of new technology that pushes us farther down the line of the never ending advances towards a better/worst world.

I'm game for a world that is highly advanced, however, I don't see living in space yet, so my hopes and dreams of living on a colony instead of on this pile of mud we call Earth will continue to be a fantasy at best.

Atomic Printing which will rearrange atoms and be able to print anything from a hot steak to another atomic printer, this will solve all wealth divides and unite the world. It is only wealth which separates us

I'm hoping I'm still young enough to enjoy true virtual reality gaming and immersion when its made. Hopefully it will happen within the next ten years.
