?I want to let you know that I do usually hold a grudge against your species. You seem different.? Ayeon said.

She focused her eyes and looked forward. The city was 8 miles away now. Ayeon had estimated they?d get there within the hour.

"Oh sorry, I forgot, we're speaking human aren't we!" I laughed to myself a little.

"I just don't like walking, i'm more of a swimmer. Y'know, with the webbed feet and all."

jeran suddenly ran back to his pod and grabbed a bunch of gas masks. "we're going to need these. it will stop the spores from infecting us." he panted.

Shleh Shleh...

"Dobrian for Blah Blah." I said. Speaking my own language was what seperated me from the other aliens who followed suit. I wanted to be individual, I just wished there was another Dobrian with us.

I grabbed the gask mask and placed it around my head.

With a muffled voice I said..."Okay, are we there yet?"

"yeah, we're there. holy Krasus (god of light)! this place is huge. there are bound to be some survivors aound here. we should head towards the city centre to see if we can find any. it would be useful if we knew the situation here." jeran heads towards a map of the city. "it seems we are in what was one of the main shopping districts. perhaps we should also see if we could salvage anything from the shops?"

"I assume you've read my report then...Jeran. Does this not prove it?"

Showing off I pulled out my Space-Tech sword.

"I wanna kill something, but sure...maybe I can make more weapons."

"i've heard about dobrians. you pride yourselves in making the best weapons out of space junk. its's very nice, your sword. but i suspect with the high numbers of zombies said to inhabit the cities that we're going to need javelins, shields, barricades, you know the deal. do you think you could make us some of that stuff if we find you some bits and bobs?" saying this, jeran smashes open a shop window with a glove made of his own spines and starts rumaging through all the very dusty stuff. "i trust you've brought your tools?"

"Haha, this sword is selling in my Galaxy, of course mine is...tweaked a little. Yes, I can make all of that stuff, but...I'm going to need time, I only have two arms, I'll need at least a week to prepare it all." I began thinking of weapon models before I even had the equipment. I mumbled something in Dobrian, and followed Jeran, waiting for some junk to fix.

Ayeon looked around. The buildings looked dormant and scary. The group stood in the middle of an empty street. Two of the aliens went looking for parts. A figure appeared about 3400 meters away. It walked sluggish the opposite way as them.

?This place is creepy. I don?t see any zombies? Ayeon finally said.

She ruffled her hand through her hair and took out her sphere. She opened it and took some ammo. She reloaded the gun and took a look into her sphere. More ammo appeared.

?Felintians use this in war. Bases can teleport bullets into these. Simply technology?

"could you perhaps make an invisibility clock for Ayeon, the cat? i've read her profile and it says that she's good at the stealth espionage sort of thing. i've found a couple of small, compact electrical generators and a big bit of cloth." Jeran looks out of the shop and at the darkening sky. he remembers back to the brief and remembers that the zombies are likely to be more aggressive at night. "we ought to make camp here." he says and then grabs some big bits of furniture to try and barricade the shop.

"Sure, I can do that..." I looked to the left, and looked to the right.

"Somebody gimme some junk that I can play with!"

?A cloak? Why would I need that? Wait, I?m going to be spying on zombies?? Ayeon laughed.

She done a handstand out of boredom and stayed in that position. She focused back to the figure. The sluggish walking had turned towards them. She couldn?t tell if it was a survivor due to the fact that she was upside-down and not willing to go back to her feet.

She finally gave in and landed gracefully. She clutched her pistols and looked at Zlarg & Jeran

?Guys, look.? She pointed at the figure far away.

jeran turned to look at the figure. he soon realized that it was a zombie from the dried blood on its jaws and the blank look on its face. grimly he pulled his gas mask over his face and turned on the night vision button to give him a better look at the thing. the zombie had dead coloured skin and parts of its head were missing. jeran drew his pistols from their holsters and waited for the zombie to get a bit closer so he could get a clear shot.

?Wow? Our first zombie.? Ayeon smirked.

She refused the gas mask. Felintians don?t need to breathe to survive. She was taught at a young age to control her breathing pattern. At the age of 23 she learned how to talk without breathing. That was one of the Felintians trademarks.

The zombie got close enough for Jeran to shoot. It was a matter of time. Ayeon turned around and saw another zombie, beside it, were several more.

?We have company? She said smugly.

Jeran pulls the trigger three times. the brief said that the zombies were suprisingly resilient for sacks of dead meat with legs attached. "Ayeon, take out the ones behind us." Jeran shouts this at Ayeon and then turns back to killing the zombies in front of him. "hell i wish i had hurried up with the barricading." he thinks as the zombies stop shuffling towards him and start running. Jeran manages to take out three before the next one jumps on him. struggling under the weight of the zombie, Jeran falls to the floor with the zombie on top.

Blood splatters over Jeran?s face as Ayeon shoots the zombie on top of him in the head.
She quickly turns around and kicks a zombie in the neck making a loud cracking noise.
She jumps in the air and fires willingly at several zombies, hitting them in the chest.
Using her fine balance, she lands on a zombies shoulder and spins around. The zombies? neck cracks and she jumps off.

?More are coming?? Ayeon grunted, brushing herself off.

Ayeon holds her pistols and runs up a wall. She reaches the top of the wall and proceeds to cover Jeran and the others from afar.

Krang left off building a barricade in a shop window and, drawing his double bladed swords from their scabbards with a hiss, lumbered to the others aide. He twirled around in front to Jeran as he struggled to his feat, clearing the zombies in front.

"We better get to somewhere more defensible or we will be surrounded," Krang called out.

Jeran continued firing his pistols. "yeah, you're right. everyone back into the building. we can use the second floor as our defensive position. one of us can fire out of the window while the others defend the staircase." with that said, jeran sprints back inside.

Krang turned and followed Jeran inside.
"I'll hold the door for as long as possible so the others can get back inside," Krang called over his shoulder. "If we can destroy the stairs they shouldn't be able to get get up. Anyone got any demo experience?"
