Anybody else heard about losing fx and other channels on direct tv? whats this all about, I lost g4 about a year ago and now this. whats up?
It wont be a big loss as all I like on the channel are a few movies, the league, archer and I guess sunny but wouldnt be a big loss.

Yep, all of Fox's channels (except their news channel unfortunately) will be cut from DirectTV listings because of some issue with how much they are paying Fox for their material.

It's not for permanent though, just while they set up a new contract. I lost Fox and its affiliates for a while a few years back. They always come to an agreement because both parties stand to lose money.

Expect to see cable provider ads saying "Want Fox back? Sign up for cable!"

Happens all the time with cable providers. This is the first time hearing it happen with satellite. I'm sure it won't last long but it makes me all the happier I don't pay for TV.
