Ever seen a ghost? or at the very least heard a good ghost story? Granted its not Hallowe'en, but lets hear what you've got to say.

I admit I have one myself. There's a Wheatherspoons-chain pub in the town, one of my friends says how he's seen a shape in the men's toilets, what looks like a dark shape ducking into the first cubical just as you enter. The door didn't close however, and as he walked past the cubical was empty. Now this is true, I don't lie...often...but I went down to toilets shortly after, forgetting about the toilet ghost, and sure enough just as I entered, in the corner of my eye a dark shape, similar to the hunch of a man's shoulders and back, quickly ducking into the first cubical. Similarly, as I approached and glanced as I passed, the cubical was empty. Spooky shit. Got a better one?

I think I have, but whatever it was I saw was scary enough to knock me out of my seat.

I was sitting at the computer one night and I heard some odd creaking noises. Since I was the only one in the house, I got freaked out. They began to sound like stepping noises that seemed to be coming down the stairs towards me. When I heard them stop, I looked over at the stair case and I swear I saw a tall, dark, misty figure standing there forming the shape of a large man.

I don't like staying there anymore.

I swear to god when I was a kid I would see someone running into the ditch behind our apartments every night.
That is the most I've seen.

My old school made weird noises at night and my refrigerator can whistle songs, but I've never seen anything remotely ghostlike.

Look to your left; there's nothing there obviously. Look to your right; again, nothing there. Look behind the computer screen; nothing.

Now look behind you. Nothing there silly.

Under the desk? Still nothing.

Don't look up, she doesn't like to be seen.

The subconscious mind can do some strange things huh?

Nope no ghost stories for me; I live by my dad's philosophy:

Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.

I've got nothing. Though, when I was younger I liked to attribute weird noises to all sorts of things. Wild imagination and all. -_-

I'm guessing that's a creepy pasta?
It's scary enough to make me stop listening to my song even though I surrounded by family members.
So it's a damn good one.

No but seriously, I don't believe in ghosts. Used to, but not anymore. Plus I have other things to think about. But maybe some other user is more childish gullible believing in that sort of thing. It'll be intereating to read in any case. : )

I know, they're cheap as hell, but I will admit, some of them are really damn good.

Well, my last house was haunted as fuck. One time I woke up and there was a little boy of about nine standing over me.
He disappeared after a few seconds. Unsure of what to do, I let out a half-hearted yell.
Then I went back to sleep because I was tired.

... These stories are less spooky when the teller wasn't wetting himself, huh.

I think they are just the mind mistaken common things for something else.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

I don't think ghosts exist, but all those shows on Travel Channel and Discovery sure are fun to watch.

Eg. Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, etc.

When you see the thing on a Ouiji board move on it's own you become a believer (and no one was touching it/near the board). Not to mention objects moving around at night such as a cup of coke (it was on a nightstand and I found it under the bed still upright, so I didn't accidentally knock it off).

Ghosts don't scare me because usually if they do something the first thing I feel in anger, I was sleeping on my friends futon when it felt like someone kicked it and woke up me and my friend up. My first reaction was grumbling swearwords and going back to sleep. No one was there and in the morning you could see where it use to be from the marks on the carpet. I have no other explanation for the bed just randomly moving, and other things happened there so I call it a ghost.
