I am new here, so I don't really know if this is the right place to talk about it, but since i am participating in the extra credits innovation awards with this, I thought I might give it a try.
G.R.U.N.T.S. is an episodic first person adventure. Each episode follows a certain scheme. Parodies of classic videogame cliches aswell as playing with the perception of the unique graphical style open up a new depth of the game world.
The story is predictably simple: Some guy wakes up in a videogame. He does not really know how he got here, but since a big breasted woman (of course) and some guns (obviously) are at play, he decided to play along in defeating the evil alien virus (what else?) to get back home.
THe main focus of the game is it to explore the world and the humor in this graphically fascinating new world. Of course there is a fair batch of action, still greeted with the strange humor of the game.
