G4 Dropped by DirectTV

Yep, turns out G4 is doing so poorly, that its just starting to be dropped. Personally, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner, as the second they seemed to go into full swing they got rid of all the gaming shows (Arena, G4TV.com, and hell, all sorts of stuff).

So, question to you members of the gaming community, is simple.

What do you think? Figure G4 will get dropped by even more people? Perhaps its all our fault it sucks so much? Or is it the constant flow of Cheaters! and COPS that killed the network?

Oh, and go ahead and post what you liked about TechTV/G4, before it became a network of wasted space. Makes things much more nostalgic.

Well when you're a channel that's supposed to have stuff about gaming..stops talking about gaming and shows everything else it was only a matter of time.

The only bad thing I can think of out of this is that I won't be able to watch E3 anymore. Oh well, thats what the internet is for.

I miss TechTV and The Screen Savers, back when it was WORTH watching.

G4 has gone downhill. It used to be TV for geeks by geeks, but now its COPS and Ninja Warrior, both great shows, but they wear thin after a while. I remember when X-play actually reviewed games and weren't the only gamer show on the network. G4 had it coming.

Yeah, I've realized this too. I used to like G4, but now it just became a blatant SpikeTV clone and show COPS and Cheaters most of the time and shows about gaming were scarce. I pretty much quit watching ever since X Play changed its format and became totally dull.
