Is it bad that I recognise exactly which part of the game that screenshot is from?

Not even a little, it's a very memorable part, the point when HL2 went from interesting to non stop kicking ass.

As long as it's NOT Counter-Strike I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

If it was a new counter strike, and they said it would be coming to consoles, I would be so happy. I wouldn't be playing another FPS online ever.

They have already made counter strike for consoles. It was on the original xbox. They brought TF2 to consoles, why wouldn't counter strike work?

Why don't they announce counter strike and TF2 cross platform support?

On second thought I'd rather them announce Left for Dead 5.

Episode 3 has been dead ever since Lonbardi said Valve was going back to the monolithic style development program.
It's probably Half Life 3, or at least the next version of the engine, the one they've been hiring PS3 devs to build.

Yea this was the (perhaps overly hopeful) conclusion that me and some of my friends came to. Well, its supposed to be a *big* announcement and I really can't think of anything else that falls into that category.
